About Rubix Security
Solving your security puzzles, one engagement at a time
Rubix Security was founded on the simple idea that organizations deserve security testing that reflects how real attackers actually operate, delivered by people who can explain exactly what they found and why it matters. That standard comes from our founder's background of over two decades in cybersecurity and IT infrastructure, with a career built around offensive security leadership and the delivery of complex security engagements for enterprise clients.
Before moving into leadership, our founder spent years as a hands-on practitioner, which shapes how Rubix Security approaches every engagement: technically rigorous work paired with the operational discipline to scope, resource, and deliver on time, and the ability to translate technical findings into guidance that both engineering and executive stakeholders can act on.
Rubix is headquartered in Central Pennsylvania and serves clients throughout the United States.
Our approach
Every environment is a different puzzle - different technology, different risk tolerance, different priorities. Rather than run every client through the same fixed methodology, our team scopes each engagement around what actually matters to your business, then tests it the way a real adversary would.
This means our assessments are led by experienced practitioners, honest scoping conversations before any statement of work is signed, and reporting that treats your engineering and leadership teams as capable readers who deserve a clear explanation, not a wall of CVSS scores.
Who we work with
We work with organizations across the spectrum - from early-stage startups running their first ever penetration test to establish trust with a customer, to larger enterprises with complex, regulated environments that need depth and rigor testing can't skip.
Regardless of size, every engagement gets the same standard: manual testing, a report you can actually act on, and a retest to confirm the fix worked.
What we value
Clarity over jargon
A finding that no one on your team can act on isn't a finding, it's noise. We write reports for the engineers who fix issues and the executives who fund the fix.
Partnership over transactions
We'd rather scope an engagement that fits your actual risk than sell you the biggest package we can. Right-sized work builds relationships that last past one report.
AI where AI makes sense
We use AI to supplement our testing where it makes sense. A human is always in the loop.
